Lights OFF.
This interactive installation explores the relationship between natural and artificial light sources at night time and how one prevents us from seeing the other. It creates a visual metaphor of the problem of light pollution, demonstrating its consequences on our environment and exploring human environmental behaviour towards the issue, leaving participants with the responsibility of making decisions.
The purpose of the installation is to connect to the audience on emotional level, which could be an effective way to create positive changes in their environmental behaviour. People can feel as a part of the experience and see how their actions and decisions can cause certain outcomes.
